You’re omnipresent in my mind.
Separate but appart.
You are my shelter, the hand that trembles as I take the cigarette.
A cloud of sweet smoke, and lips that softly urge.
I’m tense.
And bewildered.
Gently, slowly, you’ll corrupt me.
And even the Seven Deadly Sins don’t stand a chance when you’re around.
Take me, use me, abuse me, but don’t harm me.
Euphoria doesn’t begin to describe what you do to me.
My fingers shake and my body breaks, but while you’re tearing my inhibitions apart you’ll put my perspectives back together.
Blood-red nights and oceans turned upside down.
Take advantage of every crack in my resolve.
I’ll wear this yearning like a talisman against their eyes.
For all their judging they are blind.
Smooth cold glass and the way your body fits against mine in the morning.
You’re warm and perfect.
I want to pour you into that bottle of strawberry vodka and freeze it, and take you out to thaw against my bare neck.
Trails that lead down dangerous slopes, anxious rhythms and aching skin.
